JURA AFTER WARRANTY SERVICE

In case you need of service

1. SERVICING PRINCIPLES

Jura machines are designed and built to be serviced with a special type of service software, the Animation System for domestic Machines and the Terminal 4000 for Professional Machines. These systems allow us to diagnose an incoming machine and identify the actual problem. After the repair we perform an outgoing test to make sure all functions of the machines have been tested before a return to the customer. We understand under Servicing more than just changing faulty parts, we also decalcify and clean the machine from inside out. A special decalcifying and cleaning station allows us to clean even those hard to reach parts of a machine. You might collect back your machine almost like when it was new.

We only accept machines for servicing with a power supply of 230V, 50 Hz designed and built to function in Singapore without any adaption.

1.1. SERVICING DOMESTIC MACHINES

Definition Domestic Machine: A Domestic Machine is a Machine which have to be repaired with the use of the Animation System. This are all machines with the exception of the GIGA X - Family of machines.

All Domestic Machines are repaired and serviced in our Service Centre only. We offer the following Servicing:

QUICK SERVICING • SGD 60.00

A Quick Servicing is if a customer carries the machine to our Service Centre and we repair the machine on the spot without the use of any internal spare parts.

No Cleaning or Descaling Process will be executed. A typical case might be the removal of harden Milk from the Frother or clearing a Grinder from harden Coffee or a foreign object. If any decorative parts have to be replaced, it shall be billed separately.

The time required to get the machine serviced shall not exceed 30 Minutes.

MINOR SERVICING • SGD 120.00

A Minor Servicing is a Service where no major parts of the machine have failed but an opening-up of the machine and further tests are required.

The machine will be tested with the Animation System. A full cleaning and descaling will be done on the machine.

The customer has to agree to a Minor Servicing by signing the Machine Servicing Form before we accept the Machine. Customers who require a PO for Servicing are always quoted under MAJOR SERVICING.

Once the machine is serviced, we shall contact you.

MAJOR SERVICING • BY QUOTATION

A Major Servicing is a Service where a major part or major parts of the machine have failed, such as:

  • ƒThe Brewer
  • The Grinder
  • The Pump
  • Any Electronic Board

A Major Service is always by Quotation. We only shall accept the machine upon customer's consent to repair by signing the Quotation provided.

For corporate customers who require a PO for the processing of a Service, we always issue a Quotation and shall wait for the PO before we accept a machine for Servicing.

The cost of a Major Service is based on the machine's Article Number and pre-defined by our system. The cost includes Servicing and Repair inclusive of Spare Parts. Spare Parts are not itemized upon billing.

1.2. SERVICING OF PROFESSIONAL MACHINES

Definition Professional Machine: A Professional Machine is a Machine which have to be repaired with the mobile Terminal 4000 System.

All Professional Machines are repaired on site or on a Quotation basis.

A. ON SITE SERVICING SGD 180.00

The onsite servicing includes all costs to have a Technical Support at your place to repair the machine. Spare Parts used during the course of repair will be billed separately.

If the problem is of severe nature and the Machine cannot be repaired onsite, the Technical Support might decide to get the Machine to our Hospitality Centre for a proper Servicing including Cleaning and Descaling.

In this case a “MAJOR SERVICING BY QUOTATION” applies. Please read below. If this applies, the ON SITE SERVICING will not be charged if the customer signes the Quotation.

C. MAJOR SERVICING BY QUOTATION

A Major Servicing is a Service where a major part or major parts of the machine have failed, such as:

  • ƒThe Brewer
  • The Grinder
  • The Pump
  • Any Electronic Board

A Major Service is always by Quotation. We only shall accept the machine upon customer's consent to repair by signing the Quotation provided.

2. WARRANTY ON SERVICING

There is no Warranty on the service executed, but merely on Spare Parts changed during the Servicing. Should a changed Spare Part fail within seven (7) days after Servicing, we shall replace it free of charge.

However, should a repeated servicing be necessary which can be clearly attributed to the gross negligence of RICMAS, the repeated Servicing shall be free of charge.


JURA ACCESSORIES SERVICING

1. MILK FROTHERS, COOL CONTROL, ELECTRICAL COOLERS AND CUP WARMERS

All electrical Accessories have to be carried in to our Hospitality Center for Servicing.
Accessories have a very limited amount of serviceable parts which can make a servicing impossible. Should the Accessory be beyond repair, we shall make you a special offer to replace it with a new one.
