Coffee is 98% water. So water of the highest quality is essential to creating the best possible coffee experience. The CLARIS Smart from JURA revolutionises water filtration. For the first time, thanks to modern RFID (Radio-frequency Identification) technology, a coffee machine can continually communicate with the filter. It recognises whether a filter has been inserted and automatically activates the appropriate mode. It continually collects information about filter use and alerts the user when the filter capacity has been exhausted. This not only makes changing the filter easier than ever before, but also allows the CLARIS Smart to achieve optimum effectiveness.

SHELF-LIFE OF CLARIS FILTERS
All JURA CLARIS Filters have no Expiry Date. The Shelf Life of these Filters are determined by the way it is stored and not by the age. If you keep it in a cool, dry and dark environment inside the protective Plastic Packing it can be stored for years without any drop in performance. Typically, you should use the CLARIS Filters within two years after Purchase.

As long as the CLARIS Filter remains in its protective Plastic Packing, they can be used without any drop in performance. Once taken out from the Plastic Packing and un-used for two years, dispose it as instructed in the SDS.
